Lived here from November 2021-December 2022. I was active duty military and only moved here because of its proximity to base.
1) The office staff is almost exclusively Latino and they clear exhibit favoritism if you’re Latino too.
2) The property manager is rude and incompetent and too dumb to be doing her job.
3) The place is as falling apart. I had numerous maintenance issues from clogged drains, garbage disposals that didn’t work, and drawers that were falling apart.
4) Mold, Roaches and so much trash at the dumpster it’s insane.
5) The gates never worked and my neighbor got his car stolen because of poor security.
6) Terrible parking.
7) Small spaces that are outdated and certainly NOT luxury.
This is my second year at Addison Landing. It is a nice complex. Grounds are kept immaculate. Nice neighbors. Quiet. Maintenance issues are addressed quickly. I had recommended Addison to a lot of people I know. My husband and I went to renew our lease and was told that our rent had increased by almost $300/mo. I think that most rental companies would give their tenants a heads up when the increase is that large. But that didn't happen. My husband and I are retired and on a fixed income, so keep this in mind, it could happen to you
The complex is nice but the apartments are old and falling apart. Constantly have to place maintenance calls which take several days to get to. The owners have changed and are not as friendly and nitpick about everything the apartments are way to expensive for what the are and the pool is always closed
Illegally towed my vehicle, doesn’t enforce trash pickup, hidden fees involving my rent. Gate doesn’t work, even with keycards. Parking is terrible. I will NOT renew my lease once it’s up under ANY circumstances.
When you have a problem, like a neighbor harassing you, you leave a message for the staff and they don't return calls. They don't enforce the rules, like trash cans in the hall for garbage pick up all day long. Our hallway smells like a dump, especially on the hot days. They are only supposed to be out till 9 am and out neighbor leaves it out all night and day. Animal's get into it and there is trash all over the place and the resident doesn't even clean it up, leaves it for the maintenance people. Pool is closed often. Neighbors are not friendly. They messed up when we were approved for our apt. They gave us a different unit than what we applied for and said it had updated appliances and they lied. You can tell that this apartment had water damage throughout the apt and the appliances are breaking down. Fridge doesn't stay closed and the stove has a burner that works when it wants to. For a "luxery apartment" that is over $1600 a month, it definitely is not worth the price nor does it look like a luxery apartment. Can't wait till the lease is up to move to a better apartment!! They really don't care about the residents since they don't return calls.
If you are looking to move to Addison Landing, don't. This place is horrible on so many levels.
If you're a drug dealer, thug/gangster, or any other form of hoodlum, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay away. Stay far away.
Don't want to take my word for it? Look at the other reviews.
I lived here before and it was the worst place I've ever lived, second only to 9th & Myrtle Ave.
They'll woo you in at first but, you'll find out that it's all fake when you get settled in.
This is not a luxury apartment my AC unit is leaking from last year ago the big burner on my stove is not working when is not lighting it's burning my food and the apartment is infested with with roaches we have to keep on throwing away our food and it's. costing us money.
These are not income based and need to be taken off google search results
